Jamaica just elected a new prime minister (today was voting day). actually she is a former prime minister, the first female to hold the position in the country’s history. she’s giving her victory speech right now. She thanked her maid. About 10 minutes ago she also thanked Shaggy for his support, and then paused as the DJ played a 15 second clip of a Shaggy song in the middle of her speech.
She’s more or less emceeing at this point.
